Man Sues Ugly Baby; Sues Wife For Birthing Ugly Baby, Lawsuit Settled $120K
A Chinese man was dumbfounded when his beautiful wife birthed an ugly baby.
Jian Feng, a man from Northern China, sued his wife for giving birth to what he called an "incredibly ugly" baby, according to the Irish Times, The Chinese man divorced his wife after she birthed what he said was an extremely ugly baby girl that apparently had no resemblance to either his wife or him.
Initially Feng accused his wife of infidelity, but DNA evidence determined that the enraged man was the father even after he said he could never have birthed such an ugly child, according to The Huffington Post.
After it was found that the baby was in fact Feng's, his wife admitted a secret: apparently Feng's wife traveled to South Korea before the couple first met and received $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery.
When Feng found about the deception, he sued his ex-wife on the grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him about the plastic surgery.
"I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues," Feng told the Irish Times. "Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me."
Last week Feng won his lawsuit and a Chinese judge agreed with the disappointed father's argument that the mother hid her natural looks from her husband. The judge ordered Feng's ex-wife to pay over $120,000 in a court settlement.
The Chinese man will likely be much more suspicious of his future spouses, and will likely remain as critical with his children's' looks.
