It seems like a possibility based on his latest social media posts. Matt Prokop, who used to date the Modern Family star, took to Twitter on Friday to quote a lyric from artist Sam Hunt. The lyrics are from the hit "Ex To See" and seem to give the impression that Prokop might feel this way about Hyland.

Prokop also tweeted lyrics to Maroon 5's latest hit "This Summer's Gonna Hurt," which may or may not have to do with feelings over the break-up.

Another one of his posts shows the title of one of Hunt's songs, possibly implying Prokop's relationship status this season.

Whatever these tweets may mean, it definitely seems like the actress has moved on since she is now dating her Vampire Academy co-star Dominic Sherwood. According to a report from Hollywood Life, things did not end well with her ex and it got to the point where she apparently had to file a restraining order against him.

"Matt has been bombarding her and her management team with distressed calls, texts and messages on social media," a source told the site. "He knows he shouldn't be contacting her but he just won't stop, saying he still loves her. He even threatened to kill himself."
