Benfica vs Spartak Moscow takes place on Wednesday in an important game in Group G of the Champions League. The game will kick off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream by clicking here.

Benfica must win this game if they are to qualify from Group G and get into the knock out stages of the competition. They have home advantage and will be hoping that they can make that count to get one over on their Russian rivals.

Spartak are in a slightly better position in Group G, but will be desperate not to lose this game. They will be traveling to Benfica with the hope of at least claiming the draw or even snatching the win from their Portuguese rivals.

If Spartak Moscow do lose this game it would leave the group wide open and plunge them into a desperate play off situation in their final two games. They will be looking to avoid that situation by claiming a win or a draw today.

Benfica have some injuries to contend with, as well as suspensions. Manager Jorge Jesus’s options are being limited in midfield with Carlos Martins and Nemanja Matic both missing this game.

Spartak Moscow come into this game following an easy win over Krylya Sovetov but will realize that an away game against Benfica is a completely different challenge.

Moscow will be missing Aiden McGeady and Emmanuel Emenike. But Juan Insaurralde and Artem Dzyuba are both back and available for selection.
