Additionally, the $349.99 price on the current 500 GB Xbox One system has been made permanent. The new console launches alongside a new controller, which finally includes a standard 3.5mm audio jack for traditional earbuds and headphones.

The new 1 TB hard drive console comes with a new matte black finish, and you can get it packed with Halo: The Master Chief Collection for a limited time. The new wireless controller is priced at $64.99, and is available in traditional black and a special camo skin named the Xbox One Special Edition Covert Forces Wireless Controller.

Finally, you'll be able to purchase the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows this fall. This allows you to use the wireless controller on PC and tablets, and will be available for $24.99 (or bundled with an Xbox One Wireless Controller for $79.95).

Video games are taking up an increasing amount of digital storage space, and the default 500 GB hard drive is already proving to be too small for many gamers. Some console owners are already being forced to uninstall games in order to make room for new ones, with the majority of the consoles' lifespans to go.
