Millions of people around the world have played the Grand Theft Auto series, a franchise with its own very distinct style. The video below is a recreation and homage to GTA that nails the game's look and feel surprisingly well.

Weekly Video Game Release Schedule For June 8 To 14

It's the small things that make the video from YouTube account CorridorDigital stand out. It's easy to throw in a few references and visit the real-life locations that serve as inspiration for GTA's fictional city Los Santos, but the way the actor walks and acts really nails the Grand Theft Auto style.

He mimics the animations of the game's protagonists nearly perfectly--any fan will spot some specific minutiae that mirror GTA's visuals. The exact way he walks is hilariously on point, and even the bike riding nails the game's animation. The visual effect of the virtual money flying out of victims is one of the more obvious references, but it's amusing nonetheless.

The camera work is really what sells it--GTA boasts a pretty signature third-person perspective, which swings and sways around (almost clumsily at times) as you move. The camera in the video pans and zooms exactly as it should, and the way it was shot really does look like the video game at times. It's particularly noticeable when he's driving the car--the perspective and zoom are spot on. Enjoy the video below, though note that some fake violence is included if that's a turn-off for you personally.
