You've never seen Genestealers like this.

Marshawn Lynch Will Play A Role In Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

These new screens from Space Hulk: Deathwing are really something else. This is the latest game from Cyanide (Blood Bowl, Game of Thrones), who is returning to the Warhammer universe with an adaptation of Games Workshop's classic board game. If you're scratching your head wondering if you hadn't heard about a video game version of Space Hulk before- well, you have. Space Hulk Ascension came out last year, and is a really wonderful and faithful adaptation to the tabletop game.

Deathwing changes things around by taking the same basic premise- a bunch of space marines on a stranded ship infested with Aliens-esque Genestealers- and puting it into a first-person shooter.

It also uses the Unreal Engine 4, making it so that the ugly creatures have never looked better.

The gunplay will be aided by a narrative written by Black Library author Gav Thorpe, which sees players taking on the creatures throughout a labryrinth of space ships. You will play a Librarian and be able to use their psychic powers, as well as give orders to your AI squad to avoid being flanked or attached from behind. Your skills and performance in battle grant you Fervor Points, to spend on 4 skill trees allowing you to improve your abilities, unlock new powers, access powerful relics and devastating new weapons.

The game is playable in single player with AI or online co-op modes, and a Dynamic AI system crafted by Streum On Studio will scale the enemy attacks on your capabilities, intensifying their assault if you're doing well but holding back if you're playing sloppily. Since you can play in co-op multiplayer we imagine this will play a bit like Left 4 Dead's Director, changing the game accordingly each time you play.

Space Hulk: Deathwing will be shown off at E3 next week so expect to hear much more on this title soon.
