On Saturday, Stuff reported that the new superstar will have his parents of Ardijah fame to manage his career. The site also mentioned that Smoke Music has an artist management contract with X Factor artists Sony Record signs, but managing director Mark de Jong made it clear that people feel "that [Beau's] parents are best placed to manage him going forward."

This might be a great move for Monga since his parents, Ryan and Betty-Anne, seem to be pretty knowledgeable of the music industry. Ardijah has been a part of it for the past 35 years.

"Look, it's quite simple really," Ryan said. "Sony have the best music and covered. We are his parents, so we have his personal wellbeing in mind. Beau is his own person and so we have to make sure he is comfortable with the people he is working with, so everyone gets their bang for their buck, so to speak."

Monga's dad then opened up on how proud he and his wife are of his son for winning X Factor.

"We are still in shock actually but we are happy for Beau," Ryan said. "He went into X Factor for fun. he has always worked hard on his music but I don't think any of us expected this outcome."
