Peih-Gee Law playing CBS's Survivor again is one of the most interesting of all the former cast members selected.

'Survivor' Host Jeff Probst Reveals How 'Cambodia' Is Different From Other Returning Player Seasons

The new season of Survivor is titled Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance, and as the name suggests, the cast is made up of one-time players returning for a second shot at the $1 million. The cast was voted in by America from a pool of 32 former players, with only 20 getting selected for the new season.

While Peih-Gee certainly has her fans in the Survivor community, her getting selected to play again was a pleasant surprise to many. Considering she played in Survivor: China, the show's 15th season, she neither had recency bias nor the nostalgia factor, yet she got in anyway. She may be one of the least recognizable faces to the mainstream, casual audience, but Peih-Gee has the potential to do very well in the upcoming season.

'Survivor: Cambodia' Cast Members Thank Fans For Voting Them Into Season 31

In China, Peih-Gee was stuck on the perpetually losing Zhan Hu tribe, with her eventually turning into an unofficial leader of her tribe. While her bossiness was pointed out through the early episodes, her reputation changed slightly once the merge hit. Peih-Gee's tribe was down in the numbers going into the merge and the Fei Long tribe more or less picked them off one by one. Suddenly, Peih-Gee would turn into a scrappy underdog, fighting tooth and nail to stay in the game.

She won two key Immunity Challenges for herself and fought every single day to not get voted out. She would later become the last remaining member of the Zhan Hu tribe and was voted out unanimously at the Final 5.

Peih-Gee's popularity among hardcore Survivor fans makes her one to watch in Cambodia. While she has many portions of the community that love her, her reputation is not as well known as others in the cast, especially recent players like Spencer Bledsoe and Kass McQuillen from Cagayan and Joe Anglim from Worlds Apart. For this reason, she has a very good chance of getting into a strong alliance and slipping through the cracks. As long as she keeps her more aggressive tendencies in check, there is no reason that Peih-Gee won't make the merge with relative ease.

After the merge it becomes a numbers game, but Peih-Gee showed in China that she was willing to try anything to get ahead. While she is slightly older, she will likely be a strong contender in challenges again, which could save her if she gets into any trouble.

Cambodia Prediction: We predict that Peih-Gee will be a stealthy power player in Cambodia, someone the other tribemates won't realize is a threat until she's voting them out. If she gets into a strong alliance and commands all the way to the end, she has a good shot of winning, depending on who she's up against. Now that she has a second chance, she will hopefully fight even harder to stay in the game and we think her tenacity will get her all the way to the Final Tribal Council.

As far as winning the game, her aggressiveness may be a turn-off to some jury members so we think she could get a few votes but not enough to win the game. Regardless, we expect a strong showing from Peih-Gee.

We predict: Runner-up
