Maya (Karla Mosley) and Nicole's (Reign Edwards) lives in L.A. have officially been turned upside down once again on The Bold and the Beautiful now that their mother Vivienne (Anna Marie Horsford) has arrived in town.

Maya & Nicole Are Shocked By An Unexpected Guest

The two sisters, who have been happily celebrating since both got back into the fold at Forrester, were shocked when their mother showed up at the family estate during the 4th of July party and demanded Nicole go back home with her to avoid her being brainwashed by Maya. Now, the trio will be forced to confront the harsh realities of their twisted relationship.

After seeing her mother again for the first time since she left home all those years ago, the encounter will be especially harsh and painful for Maya, who was never understood by her parents because she was transgender. And now, as her mother potentially continues to deny that she exists, Maya will inform her that her disapproval and disowning her for being the woman she always knew she was meant to be--despite initially being born a male--is far less hurtful after her public humiliation and disclosure in recent months.

Maya and Caroline Make Amends

"I've been through the worst that could possibly happen to me and I survived," she says in a preview clip for the Monday, July 6 episode.

However, Maya may be shocked when her mother argues her side of the issue--and expresses how it was difficult to understand the situation because of everything she went through in order to keep her child safe.

"You were my precious child," Vivienne says in the clip. "My precious child that I prayed to all the angels in heaven to help me save."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
