He wanted nothing to do with her anymore after realizing just how deeply she was entrenched with Xander (Paul Tefler), but now, in an effort to assure the man who attacked him and Nicole(Arianne Zucker) and tried to kill them receives the punishment he deserves, Eric (Greg Vaughn) will reach out to Serena (Melissa Archer) once more on Days of Our Lives. 

Nicole Has An Unexpected Encounter With Xander

The whole situation was a direct result of Nicole investigating Serena and Xander, who were revealed to be former lovers who were involved in a scheme to smuggle blood diamonds. Eric realized Nicole was in danger with Xander and wound up saving her from his attempts to strangle her to death--but both wound up being his targets after that. After a long night of his slowly trying to torture them into coming out of hiding, Xander realized they were in a room next to the boiler and trapped them inside with the heat turned all the way up. The two were rescued and believed they were safe after being told the cops had gotten Xander. 

However, since then, Xander's fake alibi has checked out, forcing the Salem PD to let him go free because of their lack of evidence against him. Since being released he has already taunted both of his intended victims--and now, Eric has had enough and wants to ensure the madman gets locked up for good.  

Daniel Asks Nicole A Life-Changing Question

As a result, he will reach out to Serena and offer her the chance of some type of redemption in his eyes. If she agrees to work with him and expose the blood diamond smuggling, which would work to put Xander behind bars,he will be more forgiving to her for lying to him. Now, as a result of his offer, Serena will be forced to make a tough choice. 

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
