The cast and producers of CBS's The Big Bang Theory appeared on a panel at Comic-Con Friday and revealed secrets about the show's past and future.

Will Any Show Be Able To Beat 'Modern Family' At The Emmys This Year?

The Big Bang Theory showrunner Steven Molaro and cast members Mayim Bialik (Amy) and Kunal Nayyar (Raj) attended Comic-Con Friday where they discussed the beloved sitcom.

One of the biggest cliffhangers from the season 8 finale was when Amy broke things off with Sheldon (Jim Parsons), right before it was revealed that he picked out an engagement ring. Molaro revealed that this will be addressed in the season 9 premiere this fall.

"The answer will be in the premiere episode of season 9," he said.

Bialik discussed the complications of the Amy and Sheldon relationship and how they approach scenes with intimacy.

"It feels weird to qualify it like, 'It's great,'" Bialik said, of kissing Parsons. "Whenever Sheldon and Amy have intimacy, it's usually very specific. It's very gently placed."

The finale scene where Sheldon and Amy kiss was apparently crafted with great care.

"For everything we do that's intimate, it's very crafted. We're never cavalier about that," Bialik said.

EP Chuck Lorre, who was also at the panel, revealed some interesting details about a past episode in which Sheldon and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) went to Skywalker Ranch.

"In the first ending that got shot, we found out at the end that Sheldon had stolen a lightsaber," Lorre admitted. "I was deeply troubled. The character couldn't commit essentially a felony."

The panel also featured some hilarious moments involving the reading of some Amy-Raj fan fiction. "Have you ever read Fifty Shades of Grey? I'm about to introduce you to Fifty Shades of Brown," Nayyar teased.

The Big Bang Theory season 9 premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
