The three female finalists of Dancing with the Stars: All Stars edition poured their hearts out in Monday's finale: Melissa Rycroft earned the night's perfect score, Shawn Johnson pulled out spectacular jumps and dance moves with the U.S. Women gymnastics team and Kelly Monaco and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy brought their passionate relationship to the dance floor.

Each couple performed two routines for the finale. In the first dance they had to choose a style they performed to earlier in the competition. For the second dance, they went with free style choreography, costumes and added dancers of their choice.

Monaco's best dance tonight was her free style routine for which she earned a perfect score and her highest in the competition. On her first dance she made a slight mistake that cost the couple 0.5 points in Carrie Ann Inaba's score.

Monaco's second dance was a mixture of Cirque du Soleil - as she started dancing on ropes - and "Dirty Dancing" when the couple performed to "(I've Had) The Time of My Life" from the 1987 film.

Carrie Ann Inaba said it was the perfect song and choreography to present their story as a couple though she asked them if they were a real one. The choreography also prompted co-host Brooke Burke to ask them if they were a real couple but Monaco declined to answer and said "there is still one more interview for the show."

Rycroft and her dancing partner Tony Dovolani first danced to a samba and secondly performed a contemporary routine. Rycroft earned perfect scores for both dances and seemed to be all smiles with satisfaction for her achievement. The judges praised her free-style routine to Beyonce's "I was Here" in which she showcased "fantastic lines," according to judge Bruno Tonioli.

Shawn Johnson and her dancing partner Derek Hough closed both segments of the competition with spectacular performances that broke boundaries by including risky flips and lifts.

Although Johnson and Hough earned a standing ovation for both of their routines, they faced tough criticism from the judges for their first dance, with each expressing disappointment. Judge Len Goodman was the most critical and gave them 8.5 for their first routine.

However, Johnson and Hough seemed content and Johnson humbly defended her performance.

"We really dedicate this season to the audience, to the fans, to have fun," she said.

"It was going to be our last time dancing."

For her second routine, Johnson performed with the U.S. women's gymnastics team that she called her "sisters." The audience went wild and gave them standing ovation. The judges gave her a perfect score.

After tonight's performance the scoreboard reads:

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani 60

Kelly Monaco and Val Chmerkovskiy 59

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough 57

The winner of "Dancing with the Stars: All Stars" 2012 will be decided Tuesday night after combining judges' votes and viewers' votes.
