As Trina Braxton’s split with her now ex-husband Gabe Solis becomes the forefront of WeTV’s Braxton Family Values drama, more shocking details have surfaced about their high profile divorce.

Solis has popped up on Twitter recently and confirmed that despite Braxton’s claim he was trying to take half of everything she owned, he got nothing out of their divorce.



He also made it clear he doesn’t watch the series.

He went on to reveal that he wasn’t “allowed” to be on the show this season, but said he thinks he should have since he’s often the topic of conversation.



This is pretty surprising considering Braxton’s ties to her older sister, the mega-successful and iconic singer Toni Braxton. Solis and Trina tied the knot years before Trina made her debut on Braxton Family Values in 2011. Interestingly enough, the exes were going through marital woes even then. Toni and the rest of Trina’s sisters— Towanda, Tamar and Traci Braxton, often called out Solis for his infidelity. In one episode, Trina even revealed he was unfaithful for five of the seven years they had been married at the time.

Still, they attempted to work out their differences in many of the following seasons all the way up until season 4. He had even trekked out to Los Angeles and spent some time with Trina there as they worked to fix their marriage. But things took an ugly left turn between the end of season 4 and the beginning of the current season. Because she decided to file and go through with the divorce against Solis, who definitely isn’t making it easy for her on the season.
