The Chelsea squad will look to get back on track when they take on Fulham on Wednesday.

Winless in its last five Premier League matchups, the Blues compiled just three points during that span. The fourth place football club now find themselves five points behind the first-place Manchester United.

Rafael Benitez will look to obtain his very first victory as Chelsea's interim manager. In his debut, the Blues were limited to a 0-0 draw on their home turn against Manchester City.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich told Benitez that he is no longer expecting Chelsea to perform like "Barcelona in blue shirts," according to the Mirror.

Since Jose Mourinho's ousting, most of the team's personnel discussions have remained mum in terms of reporting their chats with Abramovich.  However, Benitez, who dined with the owner on Thursday, was more than happy to elaborate on his boss.

"It's possible to play attacking football, like Barcelona, with these players. But I have spent some time with Roman, and we were not talking about the Barcelona style," he said. "He wants to see his team play well. We watched the Under-21s - me, him, Michael Emenalo and John Terry - and we were talking about opposing players."

Much like their opponents, the Fulham squad also comes into the matchup without a win in five straight games. Over the weekend, the inconsistent Cottagers lost a defense dominated 1-0 battle versus Stoke, dropping to tenth place in the tables.

Martin Jol's team hasn't fared well at Stamford Bridge in all competitions, having won zero in their last 15 trips there. With the odds heavily stacked against Fulham, the team will aim to reignite themselves in West London.
