Independence Day, or the 4th of July, is day full of fireworks, family and BBQ's. It also happens to be the most dangerous day on the roads in the United States.

If you're in and around Los Angeles on this 4th of July, you're in for a treat. The City of Angels offers many options for families with children, sports fanatics and adults looking for a good time. The city will be decked out in red, white and blue decorations as it welcomes the fireworks display.

Come fog or not, San Francisco's spectacular fireworks show will continue! The July 4th fireworks begins at 9:30 pm, but there are many concerts and activities before then.
