The synopsis for an upcoming episode of season 3 of Beauty and the Beast reveals that Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) will be very shaken by the incidents that take place on her wedding day.

Catherine's Old Flame To Return In Season 4  

In fact she will be so hit by the events that she will start to lose hope in the team's ability to defeat the enemy threat that looms. Vincent (Jay Ryan), J.T. (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lissandrello) will try and lift her spirits up in the episode, aptly titled, 'Cat's Out of the Bag,' which will release on Aug. 6.

Here's the official one line synopsis:

Heather To Organize Vincent & Catherine's Wedding?   

"Vincent, Tess and Heather try to boost Cat's spirits after the events of her big day leave her doubtful that they can defeat the threat."

The next episode, titled Shotgun Wedding, set to air tonight, will reveal the unfortunate incidents that will lead to Catherine's dismay in the aforementioned episode.

The preview of the episode sets a very ominous tone and in the silences and sombre moments the vibe sent across is one of grave loss. While nothing is explicitly suggested, it seems like Vincent's life is in fatal danger. The scenes of Vincent being sent out into threatening territory are interspersed with the wedding preparation for his and Catherine's wedding. There is this deep sense of foreboding about the preview that we just can't shake off, and makes us fear the worst. In one bit, J.T. and Catherine are seen stunned on the phone, it seems like they have been hit by some shocking news.

"Cat (Kristin Kreuk) is excited to finally walk down the aisle with Vincent (Jay Ryan), but can't help worry that the rash of superhuman experiments will ruin her destined moment. Vincent, JT (Austin Basis) and Tess (Nina Lisandrello) are determined to do anything they can to keep Cat focused on her big day before all hell breaks loose. Nicole Gale Anderson also stars. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Brad Kern and Anthony Epling ."

The episode will air on the CW July 30.
