Chatter On Jude & Connor's Relationship On 'The Fosters'

On Friday, Zap2It shared an interview with Chandra Wilson who directed this Monday's episode. She mentioned how the story will revolve around Rita (Rosie O'Donnell) and a life that some might be surprised to hear about.

"We get to see more of Rita's personal life," Wilson explained. "We see her home. We find out she has a daughter. I was really excited to work with the Girls United girls. I think that's always a treat in the episode when the house shows up and the girls are there. All of that was going to be a lot of fun for me. I have quite a few scenes in Rita's home."

When Rita's daughter shows up, audiences will find out that she has a mental illness. Odds are likely this will cause a lot of intensity for the pair. As fans discover how this relationship goes, they're definitely going to want to prepare for something else pretty big.

"They should tune in because it's The Fosters. It's always a treat to see Rosie and the Girls United," Wilson said. "Plot wise: get ready to head towards the season finale. There's a nice twist that happens. I was glad to be part of it."

The Fosters airs on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC Family.
