It turn out Julie was sued by Peyton Place actress Leigh Taylor-Young after she failed to keep their end of their agreement in leasing Young and her husband, John Morton’s home in Pacific Palisades. Apparently the Chrisleys wanted to use the property for three of their five children.

Young filed the lawsuit in the Los Angeles Superior Court back in April of 2014 and wanted more than $50,000 after the breach of contract. The agreement first took place in late 2013 sans Todd as he was fighting his own battle with their bankruptcy case. Julie and Young settled in court.

The first issue came when Julie allegedly didn’t make the first payment of $15,000 for rent and $30,000 for a security deposit. Young and Morton ended up renting out the space to someone else while hoping to get $52,500 from Julie.

Julie and her family got their claim to fame after Chrisley Knows Best made its debut in March of last year.

While they are definitely a favorite when it comes to families on reality television, their off-camera problems have also been revealed since starring on the weekly series. They have been accused of bankruptcy fraud and Todd has also had to fight off rumors that he is secretly a homosexual. On top off that his oldest son Kyle has also blasted him several times in the media for staging the popular show.

It was just renewed for its third season.
