Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum has announced that she is pregnant with her first baby. The delighted singer shared the good news on Friday as she posted on Facebook that her baby is "our Christmas gift." "Chris & I are excited to announce that our Christmas gift has arrived a little early this year! We are having a BABY! We feel so blessed!!! - Hillary."

This will be her first child with her husband Chris Tyrrell. The pair was married earlier this year. She will be the one from Lady Antebellum to have a child. The band was formed in 2006 when she met Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood. They were then signed onto a record deal in 2007. Their debut single,   "Love Don't Live Here", entered Billboard's Hot Country Songs, and even reached the No. 3 spot in early 2008.

Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" album was released January 26, 2010, and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top 200 Charts. With three singles from the album reaching the No. 1 spot, the album was certified triple platinum by the RIAA in October 2010.

Scott married drummer Chris Tyrrell on January 7, 2012. They had dated since July 2010 and had filled in for Lady Antebellum for a month in August that year. In October 2011, Tyrrell joined Lady Antebellum as the new drummer and full time member.
