In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, LeBron James was asked to address rumors about the possibility of a Space Jam sequel starring the basketball icon.

James recently signed a deal with Warner Bros. Entertainment which set off speculation about the studios original Space Jam being rebooted with LeBron James as a lead -- a marriage made in heaven.

The basketball star told the Reporter that he hopes that could happen. "We hope so. We're definitely missing Bugs and Daffy and Tasmanian Devil and every last one of them, so hopefully we can do some great things," he said. All said and done, it would be intimidating to follow the act of Michael Jordan.

But James recently proved his acting mettle in Judd Apatow and Amy Schumer's Trainwreck, and his performance and comic timing got a thumbs up by most critics. For man viewers James was one of the best parts of the movie. And a movie like Space Jam was all about the comedy, so it could be straight up James' alley.

The NBA player also told the publication that he would want to continue with this passion of his.

"It's a passion of mine. Everything I do, I have a passion about it. If we could continue it, I know I don't have to dribble a basketball and fly through the air to do those type of things."
