George Clooney's wife is being credited for not only being one of the most stylish women in the world, but for also reminding women to "dress for the occasion."

According to Vanity Fair on Tuesday, the British beauty is being applauded for knowing what to wear during the right occasion, in a world where the average woman would rather wear sweatpants and pajamas to public places like their office and the supermarket.

"Amal has caught the world's attention not just because she captured the seemingly uncatchable George Clooney, but because she's a fashion adventurer who always manages to strike the right tone, no matter where in the world she is," wrote Bergdorf Goodman fashion director Linda Fargo told the publication. "She manages to effortlessly walk that tightrope between appropriateness and unpredictability, both confounding a beautiful. Not easy!"

Correspondent Amy Fine Collins also notes that Amal - who is known as one of the best dressed women in the world - might not say much when it comes to the press, but that her wardrobe is definitely speaking louder than words.

As far as her day-to-day look, Collins says of the human rights lawyer, ""I think it's both a throwback, a nod to the roles women had to play via their clothing in other times and other cultures. But [it's] also sort of a modern embracing of the possibility of what you can communicate with clothes, because we are in such a visual world."

Amal and George will be celebrating their one year wedding anniversary in September.
