With the success of "Thor's" first installment, many are anticipating the sequel of the Marvel hit, titled "Thor: The Dark World." Well aware of the large shoes he's expected to fill, former star of the television show "Chuck," Zachary Levi will be making his debut in the franchise as Fandral, an alley of Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

The actor, who appears strikingly different, had to drastically lighten his hair to don the role. Having to dye not only his mange, but eyebrows and beard as well, Levi made light of the part to E! at Spike TV's Video Game Awards in Los Angeles.

"People always ask me now if blondes have more fun," he said.

"No, it's really cool. Josh Dallas played the role I'm playing, Fandral the Dashing, in the first film. I was a little trepidatious about stepping into that because someone had already done it. But everyone's embraced me wholeheartedly and been very cool."

"We shoot in London. I've spent more time there in the last five months than anywhere else. It's been an incredible adventure."

In terms of working alongside Chris Hemsworth, Levi couldn't help but admire his talented cast member.

"He's an awesome guy. Brand new baby. He's a new dad [has] a lovely wife, the whole nine. He's a rock star."

Seven months ago, Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky recently had a daughter named India. After receiving the "Man of the Year" award in November by Empire Magazine, Hemsworth downplayed the presence he brings to his own family.

"It's very nice, what does that mean? Man of the Year? I'd love to be the man of the house but with my wife and now my daughter I don't think I'll ever hold that title! They certainly run the show."

"At the moment, I love to hang out with my little baby. It's fascinating watching her, every day there's something different."

"Thor: The Dark World" is set to hit theaters on Nov. 8, 2013. Video and photos of the upcoming flick were recently posted online.
