Country icon Carrie Underwood is working on getting back on tour although it's not an easy process.

Carrie Underwood & Touring With Son Chatter

On Friday, Taste of Music caught up with the singer who dished on her plans to get back on the road. After revealing her new single will be called "Smoke Break," she's trying to clear her schedule for touring, but it needs to align with her husband's hockey schedule. She wants to make sure her spouse, Mike Fisher, will be able to spend time with their son, Isaiah, who's six months old.

"I'm not gonna say he's sad about it because he understands," Underwood said about her husband missing time with their baby. "But he'll definitely miss us. I mean thank God for FaceTime."

Is Mike Fisher Going To Turn Little Isaiah Into A Hunter?

She added that she and Fisher hope to get everything "mapped out really soon."

The blonde beauty then revealed that one of her songs on the new album is about both her son and her beau. It represents how to embrace what one has while it's there.

"It's kind of one of the same song," Underwood said. "(It's) about the things we never really knew that we wanted in life. You don't realize that there's something missing until you have it."

Underwood and Fisher have been married for five years now.
