It seems like Carter is about to find herself a new guy when Finding Carter returns for new episodes.

Chatter On 'Finding Carter' Season 2 Premiere Date

On Friday, Entertainment Weekly announced that a character named Jared will be coming to the series. He'll be a "charming" and "business-savvy" man who finds himself attracted to Carter. But this will not be able to go smoothly since Jared is over the age limit, which will likely make things inappropriate.

Jared will be played by Jackson Rathbone who's mostly known for playing vampire Jasper Hale in the Twilight movies. The actor's other credits include The Last Airbender, Hurt and Dread.

It's been a tumultuous ride on the series and the drama just can't seem to part. Carter has been having one of the most difficult journeys that a person her age can ever have.

She found out that her mom wasn't really her mom, but her kidnapper. So when her real parents found her, she found out she had a twin sister and she couldn't get along with her biological mother. But when it turned out that Carter's kidnapper was crazy, things took a different turn.

Based on a report from Carter Matt last month, the main character will find out more about her mystery brother that she never realized she had in upcoming episodes. She is also going to drop out of school and apparently work as a bartender.

Finding Carter returns this October on MTV.
