Fast and Furious Supercharged, the thrill ride that was recently launched at Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles is now gearing up for its next destination in Florida.

The Wire's Idris Elba To Join Fast and Furious 8?  

An Entertainment Weekly report revealed that the Fast and Furious experience will also be replicated at Universal Studios Hollywood Florida in 2017. Universal made the announcement on August 25. It is also being suggested that the launch of the ride in Florida might be timed with the release of the eighth installment in the series, which is going to hit theaters in April of 2017.

Supercharged opened its gates to visitors on June 14 at Universal Hollywood. USA Today reported from the set of the thriller ride and also got Vin Diesel to talk about it. "It makes you feel like you're at the cutting edge of technology when you're creating a ride like this. It didn't take a lot of convincing," Diesel said. The actor appears in a clip with co-stars Michelle Rodriguez and Dwayne Johnson, in which they urge participants to help them protect "the witness." This will be the task at hand as passengers take the ride of their lifetime.

Diesel also spoke about how it the idea of the ride was quite an obvious one, even though it might not have struck him before.

"A ride around the Fast & Furious franchise is long overdue," Diesel said. "But in another way, I never even thought about doing the ride before now."

The actor also wrote his own lines for the ride, and was all for taking things a notch above to get the audience on board. "I had to Dom-up the dialogue," Diesel said. "I know where we're trying to go with this ride, I'm assisting the audience participation."

Fast and Furious 8 will release on April 15, 2017.
