Is NCIS: Los Angeles' Callen a double agent?

That's the question that on fans minds now that the first season 7 promo has hit the Internet. It was previously announced that Callen (Chris O'Donnell) would go rouge in the season premiere, but it's safe to say nobody thought G's lone wolf act would cause this much drama.

Hetty (Linda Hunt) and Sam (LL Cool J) will be at each other's throats in "Active Measures," and Granger (Miguel Ferrer), ever the one for worst case scenarios, will want to bring their (loyal?) agent back in by force. Unfortunately, nobody seems to know what O'Donnell's character is really up to.

The promo's crowning moment, however, comes when Hetty takes Callen down with a Taser. Not that he stays down - it appears the alleged double agent will be back on his feet as soon as his boss takes her finger off the trigger.

"This time Callen has decided to go completely rogue, where he's not informed anybody of what's going on, and so they send us out to bring him back at any cost," Daniela Ruah (Kensi) informed TV Line. "If we don't do it, they'll send in another team who obviously won't have an emotional connection to him, and we don't want that."

NCIS: LA didn't close out season 6 with a cliffhanger, but the series sure is giving fans a reason to tune in this fall.
