It's been a few months since Sean Penn and Charlize Theron called it quits.
So how has the actor been doing since the split? As it turns out, he seems to be doing just fine, according to his daughter Dylan.
"He's great," Dylan told People at Just Jared's Way to Wonderland Party in Los Angeles. "I saw him last night."
In Friday's report from the publication, the 24-year-old then added that she watched the film The Last Face, which stars Theron and is directed by her father.
"It's beautiful, my brother [Hopper] is in it," Sean's daughter said. "It's his on-screen debut, he's amazing, and the movie is beautiful. It's my dad's masterpiece. It was great to share that with him and some friends."
Dylan gave the impression that her father probably won't do much acting anymore, but will keep directing since he "likes being in control." She also said that with the exception of her mother, Theron is one of the few women from her dad's life who kept him in check.
It also turns out that any stories of Dylan keeping in touch with Theron are "not true."
"I guess there was a comment and I was like, 'She's the best,' and that meant we are still talking," she said. "I don't know."
Theron seems to be off to a fresh start as she celebrated her 40th birthday earlier this month.
