Miley Cyrus is by far the most creative if not eccentric host the MTV Video Music Awards has ever seen. While the 22-year-old chart topper wore a handful of shocking, barely-there outfits on stage, she also mixed it up wardrobe with more colorful and playful numbers.

During the middle of the show, Miley - with her long braids pulled back in a high yet tight ponytail - wore a rainbow flag that she accessorized with matching bangles and Babrie-esque pink heels.

Earlier in the night, the chart topper managed to turn heads in a very revealing number which showed off her chest and rear end in what is sure to be the most scandalous outfit of the night.

While the look seems to be inspired by Jane Fonda's character in the hit film Barbarella, not even seemed to be impressed.

Many comments included, "Miley Cyrus is one of those people who wants to be rebellious, different and cool. But instead she just looks gross and like an idiot," along with, "I'm sorry but Miley Cyrus is just downright obnoxious."
