Braxton and Herbert, who star in two WeTV series Braxton Family Values and its spinoff Tamar & Vince, often put their life on display as they enjoy their marriage but also their working relationship with him being her manager of her singing career.

While promoting her latest album Calling All Lovers, Braxton dished on how they make it a successful partnership.

“Vince and I working together is all that we know. Before he became my manager, he was overseeing my sister Toni’s project that I was doing background [vocals] on. So we began our friendship working together,” she told Billboard Monday. “I know that nobody is going to have my back or fight as hard as he does. But it’s very hard to turn off. You go through things to achieve your destiny, which is what Vince and I are to each other.”

She went on to say that she and Herbert are really big on communicating with one another if they have an issue about something.

She also opened up about the epic moment she and K. Michelle ended their feud after three years on the 2015 BET Awards back in June. What Braxton might not have expected was to become a victim of one of the latest memes that made fun of the performance. But thankfully Braxton remains unbothered by the criticism.

“It doesn’t bother me at all— I’ve been a meme for the past five years. My friends and I text each other memes of myself, like, ‘Girl, sit down,’ or ‘Oh, please.’ That wasn’t offensive to me at all— even I posted it.”

Calling All Lovers will be released on Friday Sept. 11.
