They've both put on a public persona that suggests they've moved past their divorce and are still friends, but new reports are circulating which may prove that things aren't quite that simple when it comes to Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's split.

Shelton is reportedly really hoping that should a fifth coach ever be added to the mix on his hit NBC show The Voice, that model Kate Upton would be the one to take the spot-and fans have begun to wonder if his choice is a way to make his ex-wife jealous. 

"I would actually want Kate to sit right next to me," he said in a promo for the show's upcoming ninth season. "Musically, I would be interested in hearing her ideas. I feel like I could learn from her."

However, fans have since taken the news as being somewhat of a parting shot to his ex-wife, and an attempt to make her jealous because he seems to be moving on so quickly. 

"Blake is just trying to make Miranda jealous. Any one else notice how he likes to hug the young girls up against their boobs. He also like to pick up the young one. He's drunk most of the time and he thinks that is funny. As far as, Kate Upton, she wouldn't have him on a silver platter, he's too old," one fan commented on the original story.  

However, another noted that he had previously expressed hope for Upton to join the show when he was still happily married to Lambert-and that his comments are all his way to make it seem like he's moved on, but in reality is having a hard time doing so.  

"They were together 10 years, 4 married and this is nothing new. He said this the last few years on the show Kate Upton or Scarlett Johansson. Also he is trying way too hard to be ok with everything. Sad," the fan commented.
