On Father's Day, Gwen Stefani shared a touching message with her husband Blake Shelton.

However, supporters are divided on the subject.

On Instagram, the 51-year-old "Hollaback Girl" hitmaker raved about her 45-year-old country superstar husband, uploading a series of photos of the two making funny faces with her three children, Kingston, 15, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, seven.

Stefani also played catch with one of her children in another short video, writing in the caption, "We all love you so much. God truly given me you for the ups and downs," Stefani said.

Fans were puzzled and split in the comments section, with many criticizing the singer for failing to include her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, the biological father of her three children.

"A nice post, but what about their biological father?" one fan asked. I believe he, too, should be acknowledged."

Others, though, found no problem with it.

Another backed Stefani, saying the kids seem "absolutely good" with the "Minimum Wage" singer as one of their fathers.

According to a third fan, Rossdale and Stefani have 50/50 custody of the children, making it impossible for fans to suspect anything is going on because "the kids are free to tell him that he's a terrific dad and they love him."

"Gavin is still their father," a fourth source said. But Blake is also a father figure to them. And she blogs about them since they are her companion."

Meanwhile, there appears to be no friction between Stefani and Rossdale, who appeared to keep their distance during a baseball game in Los Angeles.

The former No Doubt singer sat in the stands with the rest of the parents, while Rossdale stayed close to the game, according to an insider who spoke to OK magazine, because he wanted to set some ground rules.

"He's gotten upset with Blake in the past for seemingly overstepping his limits, and is ready to make it clear he has final authority with the lads," the insider revealed.

The singer-songwriter may have a strained relationship with his ex-wife, but he will remain an integral part of his boys' lives.
