Leah Messer Speaks Of Being Happy On Facebook After Entering Treatment On 'Teen Mom 2'

After an episode of the show, which featured the mother of three admitting to being in need of help, Messer spoke out, revaling why she felt treatment was necessary to her future.

"Things had changed with me, and I could feel that," Messer explained to Nessa, host of the MTV Teen Mom 2: After Show after last week's episode. "So, I knew I needed therapy. I knew I needed some kind of help. I needed that kick-start."

"Jeremy and I was going through the divorce and everything was happening. I felt like things were spiraling out of control for me," Messer continued. "I didn't know what to do, so I felt like taking that step to go into a treatment facility and have that time to discover really who I am, and being the best version of myself possible."

When Nessa asked Jenelle Evans how she felt about Messer's decision to seek treatment, Evans explained, "I'm happy she chose to go. Obviously, I was in that situation before going into a facility and it is really hard to leave everyone and staying there just for that long."

"A lot of people put a stigma on getting help in general," Messer added. "I was scared if I say I'm going to get help, that's it. I'm going to lose my kids."
