Konami has announced that there is a save-corrupting flaw in its Sept. 1 release. Currently, the only way to avoid rendering your save useless is to avoid bringing Quiet with you on missions 29 and 42.

The character of Quiet was announced in 2013, but the reason for her scanty outfit will only become clear as viewers play through the game. Despite Quiet's lack of dialogue, the game explains the life-saving reason for her clothes early on.

"The reason Quiet wears that bikini outfit is that she breathes through her skin, using photosynthesis to absorb air, water, and nutrients," Kotaku announced. "She has to do this because her body is infested with parasites."
