Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Nick Gordon Takes Legal Action Against Her Family, Denies 'Wrongful Death'

Nick Gordon is tired of being pointed at as the reason for his longtime girlfriend Bobbi Kristina Brown’s death and is taking legal action of his own.

Gordon has been pinpointed as a person-of-interest since Brown died at 22-years-old just six months after being found unconscious in her bathtub. Her estate even filed a $10 million lawsuit against Gordon who said he is the one who is at fault for her “wrongful data" after giving her a “toxic cocktail rendering her unconscious.”

Now, Gordon’s legal team has officially responded and is in the process of asking a judge to dismiss the case. Their first point is that they can’t complete the lawsuit in Georgia because Gordon was a resident of Florida when the lawsuit was first filed.

It adds that he “did not commit any tortious act or omission within the state of Georgia. Plaintiff alleges no proof, several false criminal and frivolous claims against the Defendant…Gordon and that “Gordon and Bobbi Kristina were never married, as such, there are no proceeding for divorce, separate maintenance, annulment, or other domestic relations actions that may ordinarily occur in this state.”

It also points out that there is no “evidence” such as police reports that show Gordon harmed Bobbi Kristina, who is the only child of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.

Gordon’s criminal lawyer Jose Baez, who previously represented Casey Anthony, has also spoken out and said the lawsuit against Gordon is “slanderous and meritless.”

As for Gordon’s perspective, he has finally shared his side of what really happened that fateful morning Bobbi Kristina was found.

He said they went out the night before and he and Bobbi Kristina ended up having an argument. He said “someone” headed into the master bathroom and that’s when they found Bobbi Kristina facedown and unconscious. Gordon tried to “wake up” Bobbi Kristina by giving her CPR but his efforts were unsuccessful.

He also “denies” the assault that Bobbi Kristina’s estate claimed she suffered from the hands of Gordon.
