The Fox series is slated to premiere its six-episode return this January, but if you have a ticket to NYCC, you'll get to see Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson) in action four months before anyone else.

Duchovny and series creator Chris Carter will pop by the Javits Center Main Stage on October 10 to screen the premiere and take part in a Q&A, according to Variety.

'X-Files' News: Prepare For The Series' Most 'Brutal' Episode Ever, Who Is The Band-Aid Man?

Titled "My Struggle," the premiere will officially air alongside episode 2 on Jan. 24. Anderson recently watched the premiere, and shared her reactions with fans at Canada's Fan Expo.

"When I watched the first episode, my reaction was, 'Man, is this enough?'" Anderson explained, according to Comic Book Resources. "And then the expert in all things, Simon Pegg, said to me, 'What they want is exactly what they got to begin with. It's like comfort food. They want what you originally gave them and that will be enough.' And that's what you're going to get. Hopefully, you guys will be happy, because that's what it's all about."
