NeNe Leakes shocked fans when she decided to leave Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta; and while drama has already been kicked up a notch with physical brawls and flying drinks, Leakes has revealed whether she will ever return to the popular series.
She made an appearance on Access Hollywood Live Thursday and confirmed that she quit because of the negativity and often feeling like she was being “attacked” by her co-stars.
“I felt like it was very negative at times. It was just time for me to step back and try other things. I just need a break. I may come back some day,” she revealed.
But she was a little more optimistic about joining another series: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“I would love to join the Beverly Hills housewives. I would be the only brown girl there. They need it!”
Still, the drama is definitely at an all-time high even in her absence on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Word is that one co-star has already thrown a drink in Kenya Moore’s face and Cynthia Bailey made headlines last week for allegedly kicking Porsha Williams in the gut during an altercation.
As far as her replacement, she made it clear that’s impossible because “I am irreplaceable. They can never find anyone who does what NeNe does.”
She shut down rumors that transgender model Amiyah Scott will be getting a peach.
“All lies! It’s just a way to get everybody to tune in…Guarantee you that. None of those people that you’ve been hearing about will be housewives.”
