Bobbi Kristina, who was Houston’s only child, received the first installment of her inheritance when she was 21 last year after Houston died after being found unconscious in a bathtub on Feb. 11, 2012.

But things took a very unfortunate turn after Bobbi Kristina died at 22 years old. She was also found unresponsive in the bathtub of her Roswell, Ga. home.

Bobbi Kristina, whose father is singer Bobby Brown, was slated to receive the next portion of her inheritance in 2018, but now that she has passed away as well, many are wondering where the money will go. It’s been said that Houston’s estate was worth $20 million when she died.

Word is that the money has intensified the already crazy beef between the Houston and Brown clan. Especially because Houston was likely to give her inheritance to her family. But since Bobby is Bobbi Kristina’s father, he could be entitled to some of the money she was slated to receive.

On top of that, Bobbi Kristina claimed she was married to her longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon, who reportedly wants his hands at some of the estate as well. But after Bobbi Kristina was rushed to the hospital following the bathtub incident on Jan. 31, no records of a marriage could be found, so that could count out Gordon.

Still, Bobby and Houston’s sister-in-law Pat Houston, were co-guardians of Bobbi Kristina when she died. So it will be interesting to see who ends up with the rest of Whitney’s inheritance.
