There’s nothing like a good breakup to become inspiration for good music; and now that Ariana Grande is working on her newest album, she reveals whether she’ll dish on anything concerning her former relationship with Big Sean.

Celebrity Exes: Jordin Sparks Is Over Jason Derulo Questions

She told V Magazine of the split, “You know, people found out quite a while after it actually happened. By the time I was writing the new album, I have kind of moved on. It’s not going to be captured on the album too much. I’m in a happy place.

Celebrity Exes: Big Sean Might Have responded To Ariana Grande’s Twitter Rant About Him

The same can’t be said for her ex, Big Sean, who penned hits like "IDFWU" and "Rsearch" about his exes like Glee star Naya Rivera. Still, Big Sean has said in the past that despite much speculation "IDFWU" wasn’t about Rivera because they were still together when he wrote the lyrics. But, after their split he did go back into the studio and add some extra lines. As for Grande, it’ll be interesting to see if he has anything to say about their split.

Grande added, “I’ve been feeling a lot more empowered, and grown up and independent. I think that’s part of the reason I didn’t want to make a pissed-off break-up song. I was not focused on that. Everything is nice and great right now…why would I write about some bull? I’d rather write about some really lovely things that are going on.”
