She has been eager to start a family with Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and was ecstatic that he married her so they could officially start a family, and now, Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) could hear the news she's been hoping for on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Brooke Encourages Ridge To Tell Caroline The Truth

She will make a visit to a doctor and learn some surprising and exciting news while there.

"I assumed you'd be happy about this," the doctor says in a preview clip for the Thursday, September 24 episode.

Caroline Becomes Wary Of Brooke

"This has changed my life so much," she replies. "It's more than I could ever dream of."

However, what Caroline still doesn't know is that Ridge can't be the father of her baby-not only because of his vasectomy that she doesn't know he had, but because even if it had been reversed, he wouldn't be able to father a child anyway because there was a very small chance it could happen-meaning the baby actually belongs to his son, Thomas (Pierson Fode)--whom Caroline slept with the night she and Ridge broke up.

Meanwhile, at the office, Thomas will confide in Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) about how he still doesn't think his father can give Caroline everything she wants-unaware that Brooke knows he can't.

"I really know what matters to her," he says in the clip. "And I just don't think that Dad can give that to her, especially after he broke it off-it really looked like I was right."

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
