He thought for sure that he would get his vasectomy reversed and could then give Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) the family she wants without her ever learning the truth, but Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) will struggle with telling his new wife the way things really will be for them on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Caroline Becomes Wary of Brooke

When he went to the doctor's to have the procedure done, Ridge learned he only had a 10 percent chance of fathering a child because of low motility-and now that he has confessed to Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) that he really can't deliver on the promises he made Caroline, she will encourage him to be honest because he can't keep the truth from Caroline forever.

"What other choice do you have?" she asks him in a preview clip for the Wednesday, Sept. 23 episode. "It's not my place, this is your responsibility."

However, if she can convince Ridge to tell Caroline the truth, he may find it difficult to do so when he goes to his wife and she expresses gratitude for him because he has made all of her dreams come true by giving her a husband she loved, a possibility she could become a mom, and a title as the matriarch of Forrester.

"I'm really thankful that you're giving me everything that I could have ever dreamed of because I love you Ridge," she says to him in the clip.

The Bold and the Beautiful airs Monday-Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
