NCIS will hit screens tonight, Sept. 29, with its second episode of the new season, which will be filled with plenty of laughs and loads of tension.

Gibbs & Tony DiNozzo Will Bump Heads In New 'NCIS' Episode, But Why?

In this episode, Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will enlist his team in helping out an old friend from the DEA with a case that keeps going cold.

Plus, Gibbs' team will be closely analyzing the changes in him since returning from Iraq and having the surgery that kept him alive.

The NCIS YouTube channel has gifted fans with two sneak peek clips before the episode airs tonight.

In the first sneak peek, which is below, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Eleanor "Ellie" Bishop (Emily Wickersham) will treat Gibbs like a science project in a sense as they get super analytical about his new appearance and attitude.

The scene opens with them starring at the big screen by their desks, which has a then photo of Gibbs alongside a now photo of him.

"It's remarkable," Bishop gushes, with McGee adding, "I can't look away."

The pair continues to gossip about Gibbs' sudden lack of polo shirts and his new hairstyle, but they will be interrupted by a cranky Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly).

"Really people?" Tony asks McGee and Bishop, adding, "Of course I have, but I don't feel the need to analyze it like some science project behind his back," after Bishop asks him about noticing "a change" in their boss.

Tony gets a bit "snippy," which McGee even points out.

In true NCIS fashion, Gibbs will walk in and notice Tony looking at the side-by-side photos.

Gibbs won't be alone though. The DEA agent he knows will be with him. DEA Agent Luis Mitchell (John Gabriel) will have Gibbs' full cooperation when it comes to security and so on about the case.

In the other sneak peek clip that's below, Tony will pull a Gibbs in the elevator of NCIS headquarters and turn off the elevator to have a chat with Gibbs since Gibbs has essentially been ignoring him.

"You can't keep sidelining me," Tony tells him in the elevator, but Gibbs won't welcome their conversation as Tony mentions who the DEA agent is related to from Gibbs' past.

NCIS airs on Tuesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
