One of the most exciting additions to the cast for season 4 of House of Cards is Neve Campbell but the nature of her character has been kept under wraps.

Release Date Pushed Back To Align Show With Presidential Elections?

While we do know that she will be a player at Capitol Hill, nothing is known about her dynamic with Frank (Kevin Spacey) and if she will be an ally or an enemy. In speculating what role Campbell could play in the next chapter we got wondering is she might evoke shades of Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara) and end up in a caustic relationship with Frank -- posing as something of a threat and an ally.

This could really heat things up on the show. Considering that Claire (Robin Wright) is out of the picture, it makes room for another dalliance in Frank's life. Not that Claire's presence ever stopped him, but the need for intimacy might be heightened in her absence.

Doug Stamper To Finally Be Killed Off In Season 4? 

Another theory is that Campbell's character might already be coupled with someone who rivals Frank. Deadline had hinted that Cambell's character might play nemesis to Frank. This could fit in with another spoiler relating to a younger power couple being introduced in the Netflix political drama. Could Campbell's character be one half of this power couple?

Season 4 is set to return in 2016.
