It seems like a day doesn't go by without Kate Middleton receiving some sort of scrutiny either by the royal family or the media. This time around there's a report that says the Duchess is being criticized by none other than Queen Elizabeth herself who doesn't think she looks "natural" enough, at least when it comes to her hair color.

According to The Stir on Friday, Queen Elizabeth supposedly has some strong opinions about the color of the Duchess' hair, even though it looks quite fine for the rest of the world.

A source close to the royal family said, "Women everywhere are intrigued by Kate's sudden switch from long, flowing locks to perky bangs - but unfortunately, Wills made the mistake of asking Granny how she liked Kate's new hairstyle."

And apparently, the Queen didn't have anything nice to say, especially when she was asked about Kate's hair color, pointing out her grey strands of hair.

The insider added, "The Queen gave a regal shrug of indifference, but added, 'I do believe your wife should stop coloring her hair! Gray is rather dignified, don't you agree?'"

And while her current look definitely suits her, Kate herself has not made any comments about her hair color or any of those grey strands that no one seems to see.
