Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez reportedly got into a fight during their recent Mexico vacation that resulted in them breaking up and traveling back home before they could celebrate New Year's together. Now, details of the infamous fight have surfaced, nothing how cruel Bieber was to the former Disney star.

A source told HollywoodLife.com that Gomez, 20, went to a party in Puerto Vallarta, where the two were vacationing, after the fight. At the party, she told partygoers that Bieber said mean things to her during their argument, such as , "Don't let the door hit you on the way out."

Gomez and Bieber reportedly stayed at El Rancho, a rented mansion in a gated community of Puerto Vallarta. However, following their argument on the Dec. 30, they each went to separate resort hotels; Bieber was spotted at Four Seasons and Gomez checked into the Ritz-Carlton.

The source added that Gomez did not stay in Mexico long after that. She flew back to Los Angles at her mother's insistence. The singer's mother, Mandy Cornett, reportedly told her, "Don't stay there. You're alone. You have no security. Come home," according to the source.

Bieber simply tweeted "2013" on New Year's Day but Gomez posted a message about a certain resolution she has for the new year. She tweeted on Jan. 1, "New beginnings. Fresh start. I love you all."

Though they are rumored to have broken up, after more than two years of being on and off, insiders said Bieber is desperate to get Gomez to forgive him and take him back.

"Justin is calling her 100 times a day and she's not picking up," a different source said.

"The problem in the first place is that Selena was a little bit of a jealous girlfriend and Justin wasn't really taking her feelings into regard," a insider close to the singers told Radar Online. "Justin doesn't see texting other girls as cheating, but he's promised Selena he'll stop if she takes him back."
