The Young and the Restless left off Friday with Adam (Justin Hartley) facing time in prison since he was found guilty during his tense trial, but things escalated when he was hit by a car and left for dead in front of many Genoa City residents.

The drama is only going to continue to brew and spill over now that Adam will be fighting for his life.

The Young and the Restless YouTube channel released a teaser trailer for what will happen in Genoa City next week, which can be viewed below.

Which Veteran Soap Star Is Coming To Genoa City For A Role On 'The Young and the Restless'?

Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will be a mess since she may lose Adam for good this time, which means her son will not have a father.

"She's about to lose the man she loves again," Jack (Peter Bergman) says in the trailer.

Chelsea will be by Adam's side in the hospital, begging him to pull through.

"Don't you dare leave me," she tells Adam while holding his hand as he remains unresponsive on the bed in the room he was placed in.

Will Adam make it? That remains to be seen.

Also, occurring next week will be typical romance drama for The Young and the Restless. It seems like majority of the Genoa City residents have all been with each other in some capacity at one time or another.

Ben "Stitch" (Sean Carrigan) and Abby (Melissa Ordway) have experienced ups and downs in the last few months, but right now they're soaring toward wedding bells apparently and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) does not seem pleased.

Ashley and Ben have been together before, but it never seems to last.

During the episodes airing next week it seems like Abby will tell her mother, "I want to be Ben's wife."

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will get involved in this romantic disaster since she'll point something big out to Ashley.

"I see the way that you look at Ben and the way that he looks at you," Victoria reveals.

It seems to strike a nerve since another scene is shown in which Ashley declares, "I am not jealous of my daughter and what she has with Ben," but it sure seems like she is in fact jealous of her daughter and what she has with Ben.

The Young and the Restless airs on weekdays at 12:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
