Beyonce’s first love is making headlines after he revealed that the singer was a “diva” from the time she was a teenager. But now that they have gone their separate ways after ten years of being together, he has a few words to say about her now husband, Jay Z.

Lyndall Locke opened up on his thoughts about Jay Z with Daily Mail Sunday.

He revealed that while he had cheated on Beyonce in the past, he knew early on that something was going on between her and Jay Z.

“She started mentioning this other guy Jay Z a lot, casually dropping his name. I felt like I was being edged out of her life.”

Interestingly enough, that might have been true because Jay Z and Beyonce had just started working together. They were preparing to go on a world tour together. This was also around the time that they released their one of many hits together Bonnie & Clyde.

The lyrics say, “All I need in this life of sin, is me and my girlfriend/boyfriend.”

Locke and Beyonce split up for a break before the tour and never reconciled.

He said, “I’ve not spoken to Beyonce in years. I’m happy for her, but I love my job nd life. I sometimes joke that my son should have a playdate with Blue Ivy, but I don’t know how to get hold of Beyoncé any more. I know I was special to her and I know she loved me. At that age, you think you will be together for ever, but then life happens.”

Still, he made it clear that he thinks Jay Z is the right one for her.

“We were together for 10 years. I saw the changes in her. She needed someone like Jy Z to take her to the next level. There’s no hard feelings.”
