In a recent appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Hillary Clinton revealed some about her television viewing habits.

Doug Stamper To Finally Be Killed Off In Season 4?

The Democratic nominee who is in the thick of campaigning for presidential candidacy told Colbert that she had just had a session of binge watching TV. Clinton just celebrated her 68th birthday and revealed that she celebrated by spending some time with her grand daughter and watching a lot of "watching bad TV" with Bill Clinton.

She went on to reveal that she "finally finished" watching House of Cards. We wonder if this would mean that House of Cards falls under the secretary of state's idea of "bad TV." But it seems like a stretch.

New Characters To Threaten Frank In Season 4?

Clinton also added that she had The Good Wife and Madam Secretary on her playlist.

Meanwhile there is speculation about season 4 of the show taking inspiration from the upcoming presidential election.

Recently a report sourced an interview with Beau Willimon's, in which the showrunner dished about how much of the plot might be inspired be the presidential elections.

This has been a question on many people's minds and various developments and rumors have led fans to believe that there will be some parallels drawn betwen real life and fiction, perhaps even some characters inspired from the candidates running to win the next presidential cycle. Willimon reveales that while there might be similarities they are obviously avoiding portraying real life politics as the timelines of writing for the show wouldn't sync up with the actual elections.

"We're reading the same headlines that you are reading," he said. "But we're not trying to deliberately parralel what's going on in real life. It would be a fool's errand to try because we're writing the season many months before it airs. So if we did that, it would feel really old."

Season 4 of House of Cards will premiere in 2017.
