Sheriff Donna Hanscum (Briana Buckmaster) is one such cop, and she'll have Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) on speed dial when a gruesome murder doesn't quite add up during episode 7.

"Sheriff Donna calls Sam and Dean for help after a horrific murder with supernatural elements happens in her town," The CW announced on Thursday.

The Sheriff's bubbly personality will serve as a welcome counterpoint to another weighty matter. Sam's visions will continue to plague him throughout "Plush," and the hunter's insistence on their divine provenance will have his brother grinding his teeth.

"Sam continues to have visions and asks God for help, which frustrates Dean," The CW teased.

Penned by Eric Charmelo ("Halt & Catch Fire," "Ask Jeeves") and Nicole Snyder ("Halt & Catch Fire," "Ask Jeeves"), "Plush" will air on Nov. 18 in the wake of "Thin Lizzie" and "Out Little World."
