They've kept her completely sheltered away from the media and their fans for over a year, but Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling have finally given everyone the first look at their daughter Esmeralda-and the little girl is just as cute as imagined.

The private couple, who are rarely even seen in public together, have been keeping their daughter's face sheltered from the public since she was born last September, but decided to finally show her to the world by taking her trick-or-treating in Pasadena on Halloween.  

The group wore matching skeleton costumes as they went door-to-door, and The Daily Mail managed to capture the family together. Both Esmeralda and her mother sported black and white face makeup, while her father, who carried his one-year-old in his arms the whole time, opted for a mask to cover his face.

However, despite the makeup potentially disguising some of their daughter's features, the photos clearly showed the little girl's face and looks. The precious little girl appears to take after her father with the same golden colored hair. She also appears to have darker eyes similar to her mother's.  

The couple have been very low-key and private when it comes to their daughter until now, rarely letting her be seen in public, with baby blankets and strollers usually concealing her whenever they've previously been out with her.  

The privacy has also extended to interviews the couple have both given since her birth. Though Mendes has spoken about her daughter, she hasn't revealed too many details, and Gosling has also been similarly tight-lipped.
