'Attack On Titan' Season 2: What Is The Truth Behind The Reiss Family? Major Twist Teased

The anime series can only put out as much content as the manga series provides and, according to Yibada, the series won't even begin work until there are four more complete arcs of Shingeki no Kyojin. It appears this will place the Attack on Titan season 2 premiere in the second half of next year.

The series' freshman run concluded with the reveal of the Wall Titan and season 2 is expected to pick up with the events of volume 8. Even though there will continue to be a significant gap between seasons, Shingeki no Kyojin editor Kawakubo Shintaro revealed that there will be several years worth of manga to draw from.
